Message	sub in the trunk at one point and I had heard of others trying Bazooka tubes. The "in the trunk" version that I had tried always seemed distant and muted with the top down and at speed. The solution for me was lower power in the cabin as opposed to more power remote from the cabin. To be fair I did not set it up exactly how you did though. I am glad it is working out for you.
